FX Universal Broker Reviews: easyMarkets

History and Regulation

easyMarkets has been around for 15 years now since 2001 and seen great markets and bad ones providing it with a great deal of experience.

The Cyprus-based retail broker operates primarily under the local regulation but also has licenses for the EU, Australia, and has clients in more than 160 countries worldwide.

The company specializes in providing education and simple experience for beginners with account opening starting at $AU 25. An easy-to-understand free structure and straightforward support also help traders on all levels.

Offered Products and Platforms

The company offers 77 currency pairs commodities, indices, CFDs, and options through multiple platforms for the web, mobile, and tablets. One drawback is that there is no Android and Windows Phone support for its proprietary mobile solution (just for Meta Trader 4 mobile).

Spreads, commissions and other fees

easyMarkets, known under the brand name “Easy-Forex” until mid-2016, operates with a fixed spread system with no commissions and free deposits and withdrawals. Although it is not the cheapest broker the easy-to-calculate and fixed fees provide great security for traders even in volatile markets.

Extra features

  • Segregated accounts
  • Specialized training for beginners
  • Inside Viewer social platform
  • 500 : 1 leverage

Our Recommendation

easyMarkets is probably the best broker for beginners with a great training program and 15 years of experience. It also has a large number of products to trade with and a generally easy-to-use interface. Additional services are not as widespread as with other providers and there are cheaper options out there, but overall the broker offers a complete package.
